MY PLAY THING

September 7, 2013 at 9:07am
MY PLAY THING

I only use you for sex,
Because what you ask for is what you get,
You don't even play hard to get,
You are cheaper than a glass of 'chang'aa',
Way too cheap for my liking.

I only use you for sex,
Because you wear borrowed weaves and wigs,
You paint your mouth with excess lipsticks,
When you wear those heels,
You walk like an ostrich.

I only use you for sex,
Because you wear short skirts that struggle to hug you buttocks,
You have pierced pins in your belly button,
You expose your breasts for all to see,
Sometimes you don't even wear a bra, making them dangle like cow tits.

I only use you for sex,
Because I don't love you,
And you are too blind to see,
You can't even read the signs on the wall,
That I only call you when I want sex or when I'm bored.

You are my sex object,
To my penis you are like a toilet,
where I relieve myself whenever I'm horny,
Every time I feel sorry for you,
That you can't even realize I'm using you.

I want you to tell me NO,
I want you to tell me off,
I want you to be a little clever,
And know that you are a wonderful woman who deserves to be treated better,
Otherwise what you ask for is what you get,
And that is why I unapologetically use you for sex.

#FatumasVoice is a figurative gesture for a platform whereby young
people meet to talk about the evils happening in the society and how
they could solve them, their hopes for the future, their life
experiences as well as networking hence expanding their social
circles. We do this through poetry, live music, motivational talks,
and open forum discussions where people air their views on a certain
chosen topic of the day.

Our purpose for holding this event is to encourage young people
like us to know how to express themselves, earn their self-esteem,
improve their talents, be responsible citizens and to make them
understand the value of networking. We realized that young people do
not really get the truth about life in their homes, nor in the
churches or mosques, nor in politics or their social quotas nor in
themselves. We had to think of something that will bring them together
to talk about important things that will help them mature. So far the
bigger bunch of our audience are budding artists. As we grow, we are
already having people from the working class trickling in.

#FatumasVoice is a weekly event that happens on every Friday from
4pm-7pm. We receive moral support from a few people like Churchill
Winstones and Bonnie Kim, who mentor
us. We are very encouraged with the impact and progress that this
event has made and we only hope that it goes to higher heights.

I will be back some day

I will, be back some day.
I will sing of how much I loved and cherished you
How many times I walked to my house,
Just to save you bus fare.
How I left my dreams, just to fit in your reality
every day I starved myself, but when we met
I plucked a toothpick in my dry lips,
Just to pretend I had just taken chips
And i hungrily watched you gobble down
A whole pack of Crisps
I won't say I was a fool
No, I won't play west life
but I will cry of a wasted life...

Look here, it wasn't cool
for it seemed ok for everyone
to be in a relationship, but me
so I took matters into my own hands
and landed with you.
But i never knew you will play me a fool
See we played roles I played Abraham
And you Played Sarah
I never thought you would leave me in sorrow
I bet you miss me
I bet you need me
But I know we will meet one day
For I SHALL be BACK one day

 DEATH WISH
it is early morning in Africa
chirping birds, hustle and bustle with it comes
everyone ana dream big, only to excell
kule maasai mara wanyama wako imara
the slowest lion anajua ni lazima akimbie
faster than the slowest gazzelle ndio apate meal
na the fastest gazzele ana jua lazima akimbie
faster than the fastest lion ndio a avoid kua meal
kila msanii anajua lazima aunde verse kali
za kumpatia doh za kulipa keja.

Na amkaa kama kawa
blander sina breakfast
so nachukua kalamu na karatasi
na think hard nikistare kwa ceiling
njia zipi za kupata shiling
thought in cross mind yangu
na umbuka maggie beshte ya Awiti
na mhurumia  ju ana saratani ya matiti
so badala ya kuwaste ink, najikalisha kwa kiti
naandika speech, ah-ah si hate speech
but- saratani ya matiti

Mawazo yanayo nijia
the things i hate to recal coz zi unihaunt kila mara
hata ka madhe alikua old school
c alini punish na education
ndio ni avoid being  a fool
so there are still days you can catch me
tape recording, internal silence
playing it backwards for an empty room
just to listen to her
dying wish......

she said
"My son we mortals have only one life to live
and we ought to live it right so this is my plea
to my people , spread it kama upepo
tusiogope wala kupuuza
kwani tunaweza kapunguza
madahara ya vifo, so my son
usikinge mwangaza"

two wrongs make no right
and you never see the light
if you hide behind the source of light
there is light at the end of the tunnel
spread the CANCER CHANNEL
tell the world at the top of mount carmel
and she.......
she closed har her
with the last gap she said till we meet again

TRUST ILI BURST

Ati trust iliburst !
but hakuna mwenye atanielewa:
dame anaclaim ana ball three months,
hii story siezi elewa-
mabeshte walinichocha nimpatie hug
sahizi wamekimya uta dhani ni maji kwa jug
tulikula pamoja sahi wanani aasi kama paka shume;
kizingizie eti, me hu kus driven na lust
I wish ninge heed ile advert ya trust:
Ninge weka condom mpangoni:
